Golf swing trainingThis curriculum has been designed to help each individual student regardless of golf skill level. Each day you'll learn new skills, BUT you will also learn how and when to use that skill. For example, all golf schools teach chipping, but here at our golf school you will not only learn when to chip. You will also learn which golf club is necessary for that shot. Being able to chip is great, but knowing when to chip is truly learning how to play the game! Just another example of how our golf lessons set us apart!

Golf Lessons begin every Monday and Thursday for our three-day program.
The class begins at 9am and ends at 12:30.
Golf Lessons: Day One - The Short Game

perfect golf swingOur day of golf lessons in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina begins on the putting green, which is 40% of everyone's score regardless of your skill level. We will learn about each student's putting mechanics. Introduce a quality pre-shot routine that will be comfortable for each player. Explain the nuances of how to actually read a green. Visualization is critical to any shot in golf; for putting it is absolutely essential.

Next it's on to the chipping green. We will learn the different types of chips needed to be successful around the green, but we will also lay the foundation for your golf swing as a whole. After 18 years, "We have learned that once a skill has been learned, you must then learn how to use that skill in a setting that stimulates play on the course." Knowing which club to use and where to land the ball from a particular ball location is critical information that must be learned in order for you to reach your goal - Lower scores!

At our pitching station, you will learn the basic motion of your golf swing. Once the basic pitch has been mastered, golf in general gets a whole lot easier. Understanding how "the magic of the right arm" is essential to scoring inside 100 yards. Knowing which wedge to hit from which ball location is critical to learning how to score. Playing the game and hitting shots are two different things. This school is designed to better your mechanics AND teach you how to play the game.

Golf Lessons: Day Two

The morning will begin with a review of day one. A discussion on the 5 fundamentals and how to establish a pre-shot routine that includes these fundamentals which are necessary to play your best golf. We will also have a tremendous session dealing with swing plane and the impact it has on your golf shots. We will analyze each student's full swing. Working with your mid irons using the latest in video technology. Producing information about your individual swing and putting it on a DVD for you to take home. You will leave this session with a Myrtle Beach golf club fittingcomplete understanding of what is good about your golf swing, what needs improvement and how to work on it. We will also give you precise drills to work on not only while you are here, but that can be easily used in the comfort of your own home, garage, or back yard

Golf Lessons: Day Three

Day three is the day we bring the big sticks out. There's always been a saying in golf that goes like this: "It's not how you drive, it's how you arrive." We can assure you however, that if you can not drive the ball. You are going to have a tough time playing your best golf. Behind the short game, being able to drive the ball with consistency is next on the list of importance. We will get into those fairway woods and hybrids that have become so popular. Ladies and seniors can really shorten up the golf course we they learn to use the fairway woods effectively.
We will also spend some time at the beach on day three. You will be shown several methods to help improve your sand play around the green as well as learning the secret to playing out of a fairway bunker.

Myrtle Beach club fittingDay three is also golf club fitting day. Properly fit equipment alone can really help your golf game. This is a vital part of day three. After the final day of the program you will no longer be forced to rely on someone's opinion about what you should have for equipment. We will finish the day learning how to use your video to help you continue to improve after you return home.
